Palm Kernel Shell
Palm Kernel Shell (PKS) is the hard outer shell of the palm fruit, separated during palm oil processing. As a solid biomass fuel, PKS offers a high calorific value, low moisture content, and low ash residue — making it well suited for biomass-fired power generation and co-firing with coal. PT Kencana Mas Sedjati exports PKS from Indonesia to international buyers in Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, South Korea, Japan, and other markets actively scaling up renewable energy capacity.
